Het trio Stop, Look & Listen bestond maar 1 jaar: 1991. Zij waren een voortzetting van de stringband “ Crooks” (Zie LP’s Pan 112, Pan 126 en Pan 151CD), die 10 jaar samenspeelden. Na dat jaar gingen ze elk hun eigen weg. Toen Frenk besloot dat het tijd was voor een nieuwe CD, lag het voor de hand zijn oude collega’s te vragen. hun jarenlange ervaring en gezamenlijke muzikale intuïtie zijn op deze CD duidelijk te horen in hun subtiele, doch stevige spel.

 

Stop Look & Listen is a trio that existed only one year: 1991. They were a continuation of the Dutch stringband “Crooks” (See LP’s Pan 112, Pan 126 and Pan 151CD), that played together for 10 years. After that they went seperate ways. When Frenk decided it was time to make a new CD, it was only natural he called on his two colleges. their mutual understanding and years of experience realy tells in the delicate , yet firm musicianship displayed on this recording.
